Gateway To Glade Park Trail

We had the pleasure of wheeling with staff, family and friends -- including Kevin and Brittany of Lite Brite -- during a long weekend of Grand Junction trails as part of Rock Junction this June!

The first day of trail running was completely new to us even though it sits right in our backyard. A longer trail, referred to as the "Gateway to Gladepark" route, it runs from Gateway, Colorado to Glade Park, Colorado crossing into Utah along the way.

The trail consists of high desert, lush valleys, and sweeping mountain and canyon views leading to a set of switch backs that rivals the famous Black Bear Pass near Ouray, Colorado!

Even some of our long time Grand Junction residents on staff weren't familiar with the route, and it was not findable on On-x or Google Maps. Rock Junction is a perfect event to learn these less frequently run routes from experienced guides and trail leaders from the local Grand Mesa Jeep Club. We'll definitely be heading back there again soon!

Billings Canyon Jeep Trail

Day 2 of Rock Junction brought us back to our favorite local proving grounds for rock crawling parts -- Billings Canyon Jeep Trail -- for our sponsored trail run of the event. We thrilled to see how many folks joined us for the run, and were impressed with how smoothly the day went given the size of the group, ranging from rear steer buggies to JL's and JK's!

Keep an eye out for more videos from the event -- including a new trail opening!
